Isabelle Annalee is 1 year old!!

I still cannot believe that my sweet girl is a year old already!! I took the day off from work so that we could all spend the day together as a family! :) We had a wonderful day and I feel so very blessed! It was fun to think back to what was going on a year ago....and how so much has taken place in this year.

The day started with waking up to our sweet girl's giggles!! She knew today was her big day.. She turns 1!!! :)

Then she opened a few presents from mommy and daddy. Here she is playing with her beanbags that spell out her name :)

After we went out to breakfast we went and visited Grammy and Grandpa :)

Then we headed to visit Grandma and Grandpa :) Then we headed to the Wild Pumpkin Farm for some animals and outside fun :)

We had a great day... and now we're all ready for bed!! :)

Finally a second to breathe...

God has blessed us with a nap time for the whole house. So, before I go and rest my eyes I thought I would do a little update. Life has changed drastically for the Engler family in the last week. Ritz is with us until the end of August. Ritz, is a boy from Jamaica that John has been sponsoring since he was 2. He has lived in an orphanage until last fall. He is currently living with an aunt, who has so graciously allowed him to come and spend some time with us this summer. We are enjoying every minute of having him here. And Izzie loves having a big brother!! Grama and Grampa gave him a new fishing pole, so he got to break it in in the Lake with Grampa :)

Can you believe how fast summer has blown by??? Oh my goodness!! I can't believe back to school stuff is popping up in the stores, I feel like I still have so much to do!

Next week we will be living at Covenant Hills Camp. John is speaking for a high school camp. So, we will be spending much of the week in a camper!! WOO HOO!! Bring on the smores.

Well, I better go nap before everyone wakes up!!

Where Has Time Gone?

Life seems to have slipped by too quickly. And, unfortunately that means I haven't had much time for blogging. I've been too busy teaching and spending time with my family!! Life is Good!!!

A new beginning....

Tomorrow I am starting a new housecleaning schedule. I am struggling as a new mommy that works full time along with keeping a home under control. I am so blessed that my husband helps out so much at home, but I still need to get a little organization going! So, I have been reading a couple blogs that have established housecleaning schedules and I am going to give it a whirl! I am being honest knowing that life gets out of control most of the time, so I am going to not be too hard on myself as I work on getting this set!
Mondays- bathroom
Tuesdays-Laundry
Wednesdays-kitchen
Thursdays- Laundry/bedrooms
Friday- day off!
Saturdays- pick a couple jobs around the house to work on

I have set this schedule because John has basketball games on Tuesdays and Fridays, so hopefully this will be most realistic for our lives. And the plan isn't to spend hours, but 45 minutes at most each day hoping that everything doesn't pile up all at once.

We'll see how it goes!

Sleep: can't seem to get enough!!

Movement: Baby is moving around so much, and I love having John be able to feel the movement too!

Food cravings: Ice Cream.. and homemade goodies! I can't seem to stop baking!

Belly Button in or out? still in, but it's on it's way out!

What I miss: being cool... I have been sweating my tush off!

What I am looking forward to: getting the results from the ultrasound Friday...to see if the cyst has grown.
